BabyCouture

I've always been fond of numbers when I was young but my heart has always been in Visual Arts. Before becoming a Stay-At-Home-Mom, I've worked in Finance for years.

Though numbers and excel spreadsheets turn me on, I always find myself dreaming of being a visual artist.  Yes,  I am a frustrated artist and photographer.  One of my regrets in life is not honing my artistic skills.  If I were to have it my way, and start all over again, I would definitely pick the "starving artist" route and see where that will take me.

Being a SAHM and having Nadine gave me the inspiration to be artsy-fartsy all over again.  One of the things that I enjoy is taking pictures of my daughter, thank god she enjoys it too when we take photos.  One day, armed with the inspiration Nadine has provided and my love for Coco Chanel (the person), I ended up with a Coco-Chanel-inspired photo of Nadine.  I posted it here in my blog and I was overwhelmed by the positive feedback I received.  A friend suggested that I do a Designer Series and I thought that it was a brilliant idea!

So here I am, still with amateur artistic and photography skills (photo-editing included), I present a new section in my blog solely dedicated to my dream of becoming a visual artist... Mumsy's Baby Couture!  Yay Me!!!

Now don't you dare rain on my parade!
